Macarena Rose, CIPS, ABR International Real Estate & Relocation Consultant, an Ordained Minister, inventor of the Prop-Up Pillow, cancer survivor, and a Master in the Healing Arts.
After raising her 8 children in St Petersburg, Florida, she picked up and moved to Belize. Moving to Belize in 2004 she has never looked back or regretted her decision. She is loving Belize and it's wonderful people!
Macarena is the owner of Rainforest Realty in Belize, developing it into one of the leading real estate agencies in Central America. She remains a vital presence in the Central American real estate industry, maintaining an ongoing leadership role. She has a busy schedule that includes creating the International radio shows “Belize Talk Radio”, “International Real Estate Talk” and her newest show “Tuesdays with More Tax Tips“, filming her 6th HGTV House Hunters International program in Belize, speaking as an International Real Estate Consultant in various forums and serving on the board of many community organizations in Belize.

Belize is one of the most popular destinations to visit in Central America. It’s is known for world-class diving and scuba, Ancient Mayan Ruins, and archaeological sites where you can actively explore with the appropriate guides. If Belize is not on your list of places to visit in the next year, we will help you prepare for your first trip, help you find a place to stay, or help you invest in real property you can own overseas or as an approved resident of Belize.

How low is low cost? Let’s compare the cost in $USD for how much produce you can buy up to 20 bananas for $1 USD, up to 12 oranges for $1 USD, up to 2 lbs. of cucumbers for $0.75 USD and 1 pineapple for $1.50
CHAPTER 3
Return flight cancelled. What happens next when you don’t want to go back?
When you enter the country of Belize as a visitor, you receive a 30 day period where you may experience the country on your own. If you wish to stay beyond the 30 day period, you will need to visit the immigration office, pay the $100/month USD renewal fee or pay $200 USD for two months or $300 USD for three months. The maximum number of months you can renew is is three.

There are no real estate licenses and there is no MLS. Buying a property in Belize can be a risky endeavor if you are not aware of the process and prepared for the unexpected.
